Fort Defiance would like to welcome Bob Myers as the new site director. Bob Myers, is a native of Stokes County, NC and now resides in Wilkes County, NC. He is married to Carole Myers, and they have three children. Bob is retired after 28 years with the North Carolina Forestry Service. His last station was at Rendezvous Mountain State Park in Wilkes County, NC. His daughter Rebekah (also pictured) is the newest volunteer at the site and is a lover of history.
