Fort Defiance is excited to partner with the National Park Service for a "Lunch & Learn" program on Saturday, June 19th from 11:00 am to 2 pm. William Caldwell, Park Guide, will be telling the story of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail at 12:30 pm.
This is a free public event, so please bring your lunch and a chair and plan to spend the day.
Due to weather conditions, the Celtic Festival scheduled for today has been cancelled. We do expect to reschedule, however, the date yet to be determined.
Given the uncertainty of tomorrows weather, we will make a decision by 11:30 in the morning whether to proceed with the Celtic Festival or postpone it to a later date. Follow us on Facebook for more
