Nestled in northwestern Wilkes County, the mountain's legacy stretches back to the Revolutionary War. Join Park Superintendent Jeff Matheson as he brings its fascinating past to life, shares updates on the park today, and offers a look at the future of this unique public land.
Bring your lunch and a chair, and meet us under the picnic shelter to learn all about Rendezvous Mountain, from its roots in the Revolutionary War to tomorrow!
This is a free event with the exception of house tours, which will be offered after the lunch and learn event. Admission for a house tour is $7/adults and $5/children aged 5-14 years old.
